Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Full Time (40hr/week)

General Description:

This position is responsible for performing various administrative tasks in support of the management and staff of HEALTHeLINK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist management and staff with all aspects of daily operations
  • Perform general office duties which include: answer multi-line phone, greet visitors, handle incoming and outgoing mail, order and maintain supplies, maintain equipment, copy, fax, scan, file, etc.
  • Assist with general accounting duties
  • Schedule and set up for meetings; prepare meeting minutes
  • Participate in HEALTHeLINK projects
  • Participate in HEALTHeLINK community events
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Visio and Access experience a plus
  • Must consistently perform duties accurately and in a timely manner with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually with little supervision
  • Must be able to handle matters that require a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have a valid driver's license and your own transportation

Education:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent required

  • Light physical effort in an office environment
  • Frequent computer use/data entry
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (files, paper boxes, cases of water) periodically
  • Primary sedentary work with occasional bending and reaching
  • May be required to sit/stand for long periods of time
