HEALTHeLINK announces new additions to board of directors

BUFFALO, NY – September 19, 2022 – HEALTHeLINK, the health information exchange (HIE) for Western New York, today announced the addition of three new directors to its board. Allison Brashear, MD, MBA, vice president of health sciences and dean, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo; Michael Mineo, MD, FACEP, MMM, executive vice president and chief medical officer, Kaleida Health; and Pastor George F. Nicholas, chair, Buffalo Center for Health Equity, were each elected to three-year terms.

Current board member Michael J. Edbauer, DO, MBA, president, Highmark Western and Northeastern New York was also named to the executive committee.

In addition to Dr. Edbauer, the executive committee also includes Anthony Billittier, MD, FACEP, executive vice president & chief medical officer at Independent Health, who continues as board chair; Art Wingerter, president, Univera Healthcare as vice chair; Eileen Morgan, consumer representative; and Ann Marie Odrobina, group vice president, employee benefits & wellness, M&T Bank.

Other members of HEALTHeLINK’s board of directors include Andrew L. Davis, MBA, chief operating officer, Erie County Medical Center; Michael F. Galang, D.O., senior vice president and chief information officer, Catholic Health; Paul Pettit, commissioner of health, Genesee & Orleans County Health Departments; Raghu Ram, MD, vice president of value-based care optimization and community clinical collaboration, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; and Sourav Sengupta, MD, MPH, program director, child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship, assistant professor of psychiatry & pediatrics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at University at Buffalo.
