Geoff Allen Joins HEALTHeLINK As Data Quality Manager

BUFFALO, NY – May 28, 2020 – HEALTHeLINK today announced the hire of Geoff Allen as data quality manager. In this new role, Allen is responsible for the data quality and standardization efforts of Western New York’s health information exchange and serves as the subject matter expert in this area for HEALTHeLINK participants, including spearheading the data quality committee. In addition, Allen will also develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate a formal data quality improvement plan as required by the New York State Department of Health Office of Quality and Patient Safety.

With nearly ten years of health information technology experience, Allen was most recently with UBMD Family Medicine and Internal Medicine where he served as director of quality analytics. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications from University at Buffalo and is an American Health Information Management Association Certified Health Data Analyst. Allen resides in Amherst.
